Up Close in Nature

These pictures were taken in my grandparents backyard in Kaysville, Utah, in June. I've been learning how to use the macro function on my camera, and it's like looking at the world with a microscope.

Butterfly Pavilion

At Desert Botanical Gardens, we enjoyed the Butterfly Pavilion. While taking a few shots, a Monarch landed on my finger. I carefully moved the camera to get a close up of the beautiful creature. It was a great experience for our family.
